About the Role

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert mortgage advice and tailored solutions

Oversee the entire loan process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all documentation.

Coordinate with underwriters and lenders to facilitate loan approvals.

Stay updated on mortgage market trends and provide clients with market insights.
-
Ensure mortgage applications comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Conduct risk assessments to minimize financial risks.
-
Mentor and train junior brokers, providing guidance and support.

Develop strategies to generate new business and expand the client base.

Meet or exceed sales targets.

Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries promptly.

Analyze clients’ financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage products.

Participate in professional development and implement process improvements.
About You
The successful candidate will have:

Experience working with complex lending and exposure to various scenario
-
Have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
-
Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
IT literacy and proficiency in using various IT platforms.
-
Ability to interpret basic financial statements and tax returns.

Experience with AFG Flex software or Westpac Drive online (highly regarded).

A degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting (beneficial but not essential) and/or;
-
A Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking (beneficial but not essential).
